I focus on organisational transformation and improvement. My background is in industrial engineering and my career experience is as a management consultant in multiple sectors and - in recent years - as a transformation director for the head office of the NHS for both internal and external services.
I have experience in the mining, construction and manufacturing sectors but specialise in healthcare. Most recently I was part of the national Covid response team, working with both the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the NHS to coordinate supplies and build the seven Nightingale field hospitals.
I love a good challenge and can't help but say yes to seemingly impossible projects. While transformation and change projects can be really tricky and complex, I have found that there are always ways to deliver value - sometimes it just needs some calm consideration.
My specific strengths are in structuring complex solutions and working with diverse groups of people towards a goal.
My top tip for making an impact in large organisations is to create better links between people and departments.
