Yusuf took part in Inverto's Pathfinder Programme in 2025

“Hi, I'm Yusuf, a BSc Economics, Statistics & Mathematics student at Queen Mary University of London. My experience with WiseUp began with my participation in Inverto's Pathfinder Programme, in which they assisted in running.

As a first year undergraduate student, I gained early exposure to the world of consultancy through a BCG subsidiary, being matched with a mentor and having the opportunity to visit the office and speak with senior members of the firm. I found the mentoring aspect to be the most valuable part of the experience. I had multiple 1-to-1 sessions with a Project Manager, helping me with many questions I had, not only in the consultancy industry, but also on a more personal level by addressing how I can advance my career in the short and long term.

The experience I gained with WiseUp was one that I know I'll look back on in the future as a vital moment in my early career, where I figured out how I'll progress my career further and where I built many vital skills that are applicable in any workspace."
