Celebrating a Major Milestone: Wiseup Wins Two Awards at the SME National Business Awards
On Friday 7th November, the Wiseup team attended the SME National Business Awards in London –an inspiring event that brought together outstanding businesses from across the UK to celebrate the very best in the SME world.
We are truly honoured to share that Wiseup not only took home the Gold Award for Best Enterprising Business, but was also named the Overall Winner of the evening!
With over 120 finalists across 19 categories, and thousands of business submissions, to being recognised as the Overall Winner is a monumental achievement for our family-run business. It’s a moment that highlights how our mission, programmes, and impact continue to resonate with and inspire those who learn about our work.
Our Awards
Best Enterprising Business Winners
We were first delighted to be announced as Gold Winners in the Best Enterprising Business category. This recognition is a testament to how we’ve evolved over the years, from running a professional coaching and mentoring platform to focusing on providing students with valuable mentoring and work experience opportunities.
Our core services have continually adapted, always with social impact at the heart of everything we do. This shift from supporting established professionals to empowering the next generation has allowed us to deliver programmes that are truly life-changing for young people.
We’re incredibly proud of our dedicated team for making this transition so seamless and for cementing Wiseup’s place as a trailblazer in social mobility. The results speak for themselves: countless lives changed, and our initiatives are now reaching more cities across the UK.
Overall Winners
To round off an already incredible evening, we were then announced as the Overall Winners – the final and most prestigious award of the night.
We are beyond thrilled to have received this recognition amongst so many fantastic businesses from a wide range of industries and backgrounds. With 19 categories for the judges to choose from, being selected as the overall winner is an extraordinary honour that we will cherish for years to come.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re filled with even greater motivation and energy to continue expanding our programmes across the UK — ensuring that even more students can access life-changing mentoring and work experience opportunities.
This double win is part of the continued recognition for our positive impact, following on from our win at Greater Manchester Chamber’s Excellence Awards last month. It’s a reflection of what we’ve achieved so far, but a powerful reminder of what’s possible when purpose and passion drive everything we do.
Next up, we’ll be attending the SME London Business Awards in February, nominated for the Positive Impact and Best Enterprising Business Categories for our work supporting students in and around London.
