Another Intern work experience week has successfully wrapped for London Intern 26, marking the fourth consecutive year of delivering impactful, real-world experiences for young people.
This year’s programme brought together 6 businesses: Kantar, Efficio, Hays, Chain IQ, Kyndryl and Blackbullion and 45 students, culminating in an impressive 1,575 hours of workplace experience. Across the week, mentors and mentees worked side by side, giving students a genuine insight into professional environments while helping them build confidence, develop key employability skills, and broaden their understanding of future career pathways.
From hands-on tasks to meaningful conversations with industry professionals, the week was designed to immerse students in the realities of the workplace. The result was clear to see: increased confidence, stronger communication skills, and a deeper awareness of the opportunities available to them.
The programme concluded with a final celebration hosted at Kantar’s office, where all participants came together to reflect on their experiences over pizza. It was a valuable opportunity for students and mentors alike to share their highlights, recognise achievements, and celebrate the progress made throughout the week.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the businesses, mentors, and partners involved in making this year’s programme such a success. Their commitment continues to play a vital role in opening up access to meaningful work experience for young people.
Stay tuned for our upcoming interviews, where we’ll be sharing first-hand insights into just how valuable this initiative has been for both students and professionals alike.
