Wiseup and LondonEnergy Launch Fifth Pathfinder Programme
It’s a proud moment in the Wiseup calendar, as we celebrate the launch of LondonEnergy’s fifth consecutive Pathfinder Programme.
This milestone reflects a strong and growing partnership, built on a shared commitment to supporting young people as they take their first steps into the world of work.
Kicking Off with Mentor Training
This year’s programme began with a dedicated mentor training workshop, bringing together both returning mentors and those taking part for the first time.
Delivered by Wiseup Coach & Mentor, Stephen Chandler, the session was designed to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and practical tools needed to effectively support young people throughout the programme.
The workshop provided an interactive and engaging environment, covering:
- The key differences between mentoring and coaching
- Techniques for building trust and rapport
- Practical exercises to prepare for real mentoring conversations
- Strategies to support young people with varying needs and backgrounds
Creating Lasting Impact for Young People
Our long-standing relationship with LondonEnergy has already delivered significant outcomes:
- 35 students supported through the programme
- 150+ hours of mentoring provided
- 150+ hours of workplace experience gained
Each year, the programme offers young people the opportunity to step into a professional environment, gain exposure to a variety of job roles, and develop essential skills that will support their future careers.
