I am a Brand Strategist, Entrepreneur and Mentor.
An award-winning career in Advertising has given me unique insights into being able to help others with their brand, whether personal or company. Plus anyone with a wider interest in the creative industries especially start-ups.
I have worked in international creative agencies and been a co-founder of three agency start-ups
I offer an environment that encourages people to consider alternative ways of approaching both personal and business challenges.
Having conducted countless research interviews in my career I’m a practised listener. Helping people focus via self-reflection on what is happening in their world.
I understand the challenges of being creative-minded in both large corporations and struggling start-ups. I began my career as an Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi back in the day. Went on to become a Creative Director of various international agencies.
But, in the middle of my career, I turned left and retrained as a Strategist. Later returning to Saatchi’s as a Planning Director on the Diageo business.
I am a winner of multiple creative and planning awards. Entrepreneur in residence at Sheffield Hallam University. Honorary vice president of the Marketing Agencies Association and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Throughout my career, I have had an interest in the hospitality industry. To this day I advise both venues and drink brands, again especially start-ups, on marketing and innovation issues
After 30 years of living and working in central London. 2019 saw us move to Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, for a change of lifestyle and cheaper beer.
